Below are free, downloadable tools that we’ve developed to improve practice. They’ve been the result of our direct work with institutions as we’ve learned what works. They are intended provide a framework for creating actionable data and to change the institutional fabric for decision making.  We hope these tools and checklists will save you time, and help focus your work on  the strategic alternatives that are before all institutions.  Please feel that you may freely adapt them or even improve them for your own use; we only ask that you let us know when you do so that we learn from your experiences.

These tools represent significant and determined work. We intend to develop more of them to contribute to higher education. We believe that open-source tools can positively impact higher education networks. Please take a minute to read the Creative Commons rules if you’re uncertain about how open-source sharing can benefit you and your organization.
